MBTA GLX Project Update

MBTA GLX Project Update: Construction of the 11-span bicycle/pedestrian viaduct structure is nearly complete with only the expansion joints, rub rails, protective screens, and light posts remaining.

The GLX project is scheduled for completion in 2022, at which time the bridge will be opened for bicycle/pedestrian use connecting Lechmere Station to the City of Somerville.
