Bridge Inspection Project Manager

Mr. Gonsalves is a registered Professional Engineer with over 13 years of experience primarily focused on bridge inspection in which he has over 11 years of experience. His inspection experience includes routine, damage, special member, and fracture critical NBIS inspections of various bridge types and structures in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, and includes bridges over electrified railroad. As Bridge Inspection Project Manager, Mr. Gonsalves is involved in all aspects of inspection assignments including scheduling and personnel, field operations and field equipment operations, inspection report preparation and quality assurance/quality control. Jacob has extensive training in bridge inspection completing NHI courses on Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges, Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques of Steel Bridges, Tunnel Safety Inspection and more. His experience also includes serving as Port Engineer in New Bedford for two years. Mr. Gonsalves was recognized as a Baystate Roads Scholar in February of 2022.

Jake has his Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
